Whirlpool - the Australia Broadband News blog - has released its 2007 Australian Broadband Survey. The survey was conducted over a four week period — from 31 December 2007 to 1 February 2008 - and had 17,881 respondents.
One question that grabbed my attention was the "what is most important for you in a broadband internet connection?". The number one reponse with Thirty nine percent of respondents said that faster speeds were of most importance to them.
Considering the $8b investment that is going to be made in the coming years on our Broadband networks, does this result indicated that FTTH should be the direction we need to head?
