In an interview on ABCs lateline Business program, Telstra Chairman Donald McGauchie is still pushing out the Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt in the ability of other bidders to deliver the National Broadband Network. In my opinion some of the statements he makes are misleading or a misrepresentation. You be the judge for youself.
If it is true that Telstra has simply proposed the same solution they presented in 2006 to the former Howard Government, then I hope they dont win this tender; because it will put the breaks on this nation's ability to remain international competitive in the long run.
