Alan Kohler from Inside Business interviewed Communications Minister, Senator Conroy on Sunday in relation to the National Broadband Network. Senator Conroy had some interesting statements one of which Kohler picked up on in regards to the Expert panel recommendations. Conroy said "They [expert panel] could say Minister, there is one cracker of a bid, sign up now. It could say look, there's a couple of bids that are worthwhile, it could say none of the proposals are worthwhile".

Kohler pounced on this asking what happens if they say none of them are worthwhile? To which the Minister started to backpeddle quickly. Is the Minister admitting this whole process may end up in the bin?
