This is an interview TelecomTV had with Senator Conroy on the National Broadband Network. Not too much new information here, however what is most interesting are the comments made by an analyst from Yankee Group - Benoit Felten, a member of the "Fibre Ring".
"Interesting interview on Australia's Next-Generation Broadband. VDSL is what is aimed for. Obviously, this is very political interview, and ultimately Conroy is not saying much and wrapping what he is saying in a lot of fluff. It's, in a way, reassuring to see that lack of understanding of the dynamics of piracy responses is widespread and not limited to French politicians."
He talks about the "Digital Divide" within Australia, but fails the acknowledge the divide which is rapidly growing between Australia and other countries going FTTH/P.
